Melksham Makes the Top Ten List of The Hottest Selling Markets In 2021

It’s official, our wonderful town of Melksham has made it on to the top ten list of the hottest places to sell in the UK.

According to a recent report released by Rightmove, Melksham was the hottest town in Wiltshire and is now rubbing shoulders with the likes of Newquay in Cornwall and Plymstock in Devon, both very popular coastal towns.

The report, released in April 2021, shows that after some detailed analysis by Rightmove, the factors taken into consideration for Melksham making this exclusive list consisted of the time taken from instruction to sale agreed and also the number of properties achieving the full asking price.

From our monthly ‘Property Market Update’ videos with Nigel Fitzgerald, we have also reported a phenomenal start to 2021 with 17 sales agreed in March and 16 sales agreed in April. From this, we recorded 14 sales in March at the full asking price or above and 16 in April.
